"We do not remember days... we remember moments" - Cesare Pavese
I offer a variety of different types of portrait sessions. Each session is customized to fit the needs of the clients I work with. Some sessions I focus on capturing beautiful portraits of my subject(s) and others I focus on documenting those special moments and milestones that occur in my client’s lives.
Family SessionsLifestyle-based sessions primarily focused on capturing those precious moments you share together as a family. As a mother of two children, I know the value and importance of these photos. The process - from figuring out what to wear to getting everyone ready on the big day - can be daunting, but I strive to make sure the session is relaxed and comfortable for all. In addition, I am flexible in my approach because I know kids aren't perfect! The session may feel chaotic but I promise you I am capturing those split second moments that happen throughout the time I spend with your family.
Portrait SessionsSessions for high school seniors, couples, four-legged companions, maternity clients, and anyone else who just needs a good ol’ portrait. From smiling and laughing to serious smiles or subtle glances, I will capture a variety of images all the while we have fun doing so.
Family and Portrait Sessions start at $375 and include the following:
- Location(s) of your choice
- 2 hours of shooting time
- $200 product credit
- Photographer’s time, travel & talent
- Online viewing of your photos in a password protected gallery

Every time I look at her photos - many that are framed in my home - I am transported back to that moment and smile! Thank you, Lindsey for capturing forever the stories of my life.A. Gravely
Lindsey has a beautiful eye and an uncanny ability to capture intimate moments. I have worked with her in several settings: headshots, portfolio shoots, senior pictures, family portraits, and a wedding. In all instances, her creativity just wows me. Her grace and ease sets up an environment that brings out the best in her subject and allows for their personality to shine.

Her work is the highlight of almost every room in our home.T. Family
I've known Lindsey from LifeExposed since our undergraduate days at NC State. Her work at the College of Design was insanely creative and immaculately detailed, so it didn't come as a surprise when she started LifeExposed to further showcase her talents. She has been photographing our family since 2013. I know we aren't getting any more attractive as time goes by, but somehow the images she captures get sweeter with each session. In addition to getting some more traditional "posed" photos, Lindsey's specialty is lifestyle photos—think freezing a moment in time, without losing a single one of the feels. Her patience and willingness to work with even the most difficult subjects (for us, an energetic 3 year old, hopped up on jelly beans, and a non-compliant senior fur baby) makes her that much more unique. I'm absolutely blown away with the emotion she's able to preserve in each shot, and literally bawled when I saw the sneak peek photos she sent from our recent newborn session. Her work is the highlight of almost every room in our home. I highly recommend Lindsey and LifeExposed — you will know what I'm talking about as soon as you meet this lady and let her work her magic.
The points in time that matter... those little, genuine, authentic, emotion-filled moments that Lindsey guides and catches with her camera. A candid and a true representation of our beloved family.Juliet & Edward
I think it's easier to find a photographer who can get a good quality picture of everyone looking at the camera in a traditional posed position. True photographer talent, however, lies in the moments in between those staged poses. And, THOSE, those are Lindsey's specialty and speak to her understanding of the significant connection between family members that can otherwise feel so fleeting. And we are so grateful to have these captured forever so we can conjure up those memories and those feelings at various stages in our family's life. We're so thankful for Lindsey!!!
