I believe equine relationships need to be documented as all horse and rider bonds are unique and special to each client. My goal for each session is to capture the essence of what it truly means to love a horse. As a lifelong equestrian, I understand the deep love for these beautiful animals. My experience working with horses allows me to create a safe and relaxed environment for my clients and their horses. While not currently a horse owner myself, I can promise you I will share in the love you have for your horse all the while I try and hold back the school girl excitement that I get every time I get the opportunity to work with people and their horses.

Horse & Rider

These portrait sessions cater to all horse lovers of any breed or discipline. I focus on creating natural images that capture your horse's personality and the relationship that you share together.

High School Senior

These sessions are focused on the high school senior looking to include their #1 love in their photos along with getting some beautiful individual portraits of themselves. There is something about these sessions that just brings me right back to my high school days - totally and completely immersed in all things horses. I also secretly enjoy the fact these girls make me feel young again... along with the fact their excitement is very contagious!

Promotion & Sales

These sessions are designed for those needing images to promote you and your horse for sale advertisements, breed publications, and other printed material. The type of images captured during this session - horse/human, liberty, head shots, and standing/action under saddle - will depend on each client's needs.

Not in North Carolina?

Frequently Asked Questions
When do you schedule your sessions and during what time of the day?
Sessions can be scheduled on weekdays and weekends. I schedule sessions two hours before sunset, when the lighting is best. The time of day will be dependent on our focus for the session.
When is payment due and what forms of payment do you take?
A signed contract and a $175 deposit is required to book your session. The remainder of $200 must be paid at the time of the session. I accept the following payment methods: Credit Cards (via PayPal), Check, & Cash
What should I wear?
Once you book your session with me I will send you my Equine Photography Guide that will help you prepare yourself and your horse!
How many photos will be in my online gallery?
This varies from session to session. I take a lot of photos during your session, but I only share my best work. Your online gallery will typically contain 50-100 images.
Will all of my images be in color and B&W?
Not all of your images from yours session will be converted to B&W. I believe that only certain images look best in B&W and during the editing process I will decide which images to convert.
What if the weather is bad on the day of my session?
I am happy to reschedule your session if there is precipitation in the forecast. Sunny and overcast conditions work best for sessions.
What if my barn isn't pretty?
No such thing! My job is to find the beauty in any location. If you really think your location won't work, you can always trailer to another location (assuming your horse will be comfortable).
